Founded in 1992 as Cutaway Video Clips by former television reporter Tom Grant and wife Mary Anne. In 1997 the company was purchased by Lisa Regehr, incorporated and renamed Cutaway Media. In 2021, the company was purchased and taken over by Ricky Delos Reyes. Cutaway Media is a leading electronic news monitoring and TV clipping service. Headquartered in Spokane, Washington, Cutaway Media provides; Broadcast News Monitoring Reports, Media Intelligence, Media Analysis, Power Search, TV News Clips via DVD and digital download, Public Relations Support Services, Research Data, Professional Video Editing Systems as well as Radio monitoring. Cutaway Media records and monitors local TV & radio news broadcasts and has access to over 200 U.S. DMA’s in near real time and all National News broadcasts and thousands of Social Media sites. All local newscasts are archived in Cutaway Media's Video Library dating back to 2006 for the Spokane Market and 2008 for Tri-Cities/Yakima Market. The local and national Broadcast News text data may be researched back to 2002 broadcast date. Cutaway Media also provides full High Definition video production services. From directing and producing Television commercials, corporate videos, Industrial videos, In-house training videos, Testimonials and Live Streaming services.

Ricky Delos Reyes: President and CEO of Cutaway Media
Ricky has been in the media and advertising industry for almost 30 years. He was born in Portland, Maine while his father was an active member with the U.S. Coast Guard. His father retired from the Coast Guard after 20 years of service and moved the family to sunny California and settled in the San Francisco Bay Area. Ricky grew up mostly in Fremont, California where he attended elementary school, junior high school and one year of high school. In 1986 his parents decided to retire in the Philippines where he finished high school at De La Salle-Zobel in Ayala Alabang and earned his Bachelor's Degree in Commerce, majoring in Business Administration with Asia's oldest univerisity, University of Santo Tomas, Manila (founded in 1611). After graduation, Ricky followed his passion in the music industry as a recording engineer with Virtual Audio Studios and eventually with Hit Productions, the industry's top recording studio in Makati. At Hit, Ricky became the Head Sound Engineer and worked with various advertising agencies and corporate clients. Garnering several awards in audio production. After 7 years in audio production, Ricky was offered a position with Manila's top creative ad agency, BBDO Guerrero-Ortega where he was the agency's in-house Broadcast Producer. In late 2001, Ricky along with his wife and daughter decided to move back to California. He eventually started his new career in media monitoring with Video Monitoring Services (VMS). At VMS, Ricky worked his way up to be the Regional Sales Director in their San Francisco office and worked with various clients in public relations and communications. He handled clients from California, Oregon and Washington. After the closure of VMS, Ricky took a bite in marketing where he relaunched his advertising skills directing and producing television commercials. In 2011, Ricky got back in the media monitoring industry with Dateline Media based in Honolulu, Hawaii and eventually was offered a partnership and formed Dateline Media Monitoring headquartered in Seattle, WA. In 2021, Ricky purchased Cutaway Media and continues to work in media monitoring as well as offering full production services. Due to the world wide pandemic, Ricky now offers live streaming services to his clients for live events and online shows. Cutaway Media also produces live concerts and events.
